RSETI Ramban imparts Mushroom Cultivation training to 29 trainees

RAMBAN, AUGUST 03: The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ramban concluded the Entrepreneurship Development Program for Mushroom Cultivation, training of 29 participants.


The program covered commercial cultivation, disease control, pest management, harvesting, post-harvest procedures, marketing, time management, and various government schemes.


Assistant Labour Commissioner/Assistant Director Employment Officer, Amit Kumar and Lead District Manager Khursheed Ahmed Malik were the chief guests at the valedictory function.


The ALC informed trainees about self-employment and government-sponsored schemes, addressing queries on the Mumkin Scheme, Tejaswini Scheme, and Spurring Entrepreneurship Scheme. Khursheed Ahmed Malik discussed various loan schemes including PMEGP, JKREGP, and Mudra.


Director RSETI Harvinder Singh educated trainees about self-employment benefits and schemes like PMSBY, PMJJBY, APY, and Mudra Loans. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Senior Faculty Amrik Singh Raju. Trainees expressed gratitude to SBI RSETI Ramban for the 10-day program.
