Sajjad Shaheen grieved over the tragic death of four persons of a family in Chaknarwah Banihal

Banihal, Dec 28: National Conference leader and district president Ramban Sajjad Shaheen has expressed grief over the tragic death of three children and their mother reportedly due to suffocation in Chaknarwah village of Banihal today. 

In a statement issued here,  Shaheen said, “I am saddened to hear about the tragic death of four people of a family. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.”

He also urged the Lieutenant Governor (LG) administration to sanction adequate ex-gratia relief in favour of the next of the kith and kin of the deceased. 

Shaheen has also urged the district police to thoroughly investigate the matter to ascertain the facts behind this heart-wrenching incident. 

Shaheen further prayed for the departed souls and expressed his profound solidarity with the bereaved family.
