Samba police dismantle gang of thieves; 8 arrested, stolen property worth 11 lakhs recovered

In a significant breakthrough, Samba Police have successfully dismantled an inter-zone gang of thieves, leading to the arrest of eight individuals involved in a spree of criminal activities across the region. The operation resulted in the recovery of stolen property worth 11 lakhs.

Acting on intelligence reports and meticulous surveillance, a team of dedicated officers from Samba Police launched a coordinated raid on multiple hideouts across the city, targeting the notorious gang responsible for a series of thefts and burglaries in recent months.

Among the items recovered were jewelry, cash, and other valuables amounting to a total worth of 11 lakhs. The arrested are currently in police custody and will be charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
