Acting on specific intelligence, Samba police laid a trap near Mansar and intercepted two trucks suspected of transporting bovines across state lines. Upon inspection, the officers discovered 34 animals crammed into the vehicles.
The arrested smugglers are now in police custody, and charges have been filed against them under relevant sections of the law.
