Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba Benam Tosh, the Ramgarh police station swiftly investigated the case, initially initiated as an inquest under Section 174 CrPC. However, based on evidence and diligent work, the case was converted into a murder investigation under Section 302/109 IPC.
The police team led by SHO Ramgarh meticulously investigated the case, uncovering the motive behind Arti’s death. According to reports, Gurdeep Singh, the victim’s husband, had an illicit affair with the female co-accused and intended to marry her. To pave the way for this second marriage, he allegedly murdered his wife.
Police have now filed a comprehensive chargesheet in the court of law. This document details the charges against both accused and presents the gathered evidence to support the prosecution.
