Sampoornata Abhiyan Yatra flagged-off in Baramulla

ADC encourages all stakeholders to work towards achieving 100% saturation in key indicators


BARAMULLA, JULY 08: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Baramulla, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina in presence of Deputy Chief Education Officer today flagged-off a Yatra from Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School Baramulla as part of NITI Aayog’s Sampoornata Abhiyan campaign.


The Sampoornata Abhiyan, launched by NITI Aayog, is a three-month-long campaign focused on ensuring 100% saturation in six key indicators crucial for the socio-economic development of Aspirational districts. These indicators span various sectors, including education, nutrition, health, and agriculture.


The Yatra, which saw enthusiastic participation from students, educators, health workers, and other stakeholders, made its way through the main town of Baramulla before concluding at the Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School Baramulla, serving as a visible demonstration of the community’s commitment to the campaign’s goals.


During the flagging-off ceremony, Dr. Raina emphasized the significance of the Sampoornata Abhiyan in achieving comprehensive development across key sectors.


The ADC further stressed on all the stakeholders to work in complete coordination during the campaign period to make sure the benefits under Aspirational District and Aspirational Block programme reach the deserving beneficiaries of the district.
