Sanjay Baru meets Union Minister Samriti Zubin Irani, discuss hurdles in processing pension schemes
Patnitop May 19: Bharatiya Janata Party Senior Leader Sanjay Kumar Baru discussed the hurdles being faced by public at large while processing the documentation for various pension schemes during the meeting with Samriti Zubin Irani, Hon’ble Union Minister for Woman and Child development & Minister of Minorities GoI held at Patnitop in Ramban district during her two days tour of JK-UT.
While raising the issue of common masses, Sanjay Baru detailed that all the public representatives are finding themselves helpless to redress the difficulties being faced by different pension beneficiaries during the verifications of their existing pension cases after the JK-UT Government latest order in which criteria for pension scheme was confined to beneficiaries having PHH/BPL ration cards who can avail the benefits of pension schemes. d
Due to this many other beneficiaries are suffering who have very low income but unfortunately doesn’t have PHH or BPL Ration cards.
Baru further requested the Union Minister to make place a single window mechanism for all verifications regarding Date of Birth, Death Certificate, Age Certificate and other such requisite documents under the overall supervision of Tehsildar Concerned as the Nodal Officer.
Hon’ble Union Minister after listening the genuine issue patiently and keeping in view the sensitivity of the matter ensured the redressal of this genuine demand for public welfare.
Baru thanked and extended gratitude to the Union Minister for his prompt attention and assurance to mitigate the grievances of common masses.
