Sanjay Baru, Neelam, kickstart mega development project in Talab Tillo

JAMMU, 13 November 2023: BJP senior leader & JMC Councillor Ward 41 Sanjay Kumar Baru and Ward 40 Councillor Neelam Nargotra along with J&K BJP media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, BJP Talab Tillo Mandal president Keshav Chopra, AEE UEED Rajinder Verma started the construction of main Nallah joining Ward 40 and Ward 41 at Wazir lane Talab Tillo.

Sanjay Kumar Baru, while inaugurating the work, stressed that the boundary walls of the nallah were in dilapidated condition due to the persistent damage in the rainy seasons over the years, which also resulted in the death of a labourer last year in Colonel Colony. He also mentioned that one bridge over the nallah, which was destroyed in the heavy rains in the past will also be reconstructed giving relief to the residents of the Ward nos. 40 and 41.

Sanjay Baru, while sharing details on the present construction work, said that the estimated cost of nallah from Akhnoor road to main road Talab Tillo near Luthra public school is 3.56 crores and the said work is allocated under Jammu Smart City Project. He insisted that being a loyal BJP activist, he has worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people in the last 5 years, stressing that they have received inspiration from the hardworking Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Neelam Nargotra, said that all the BJP leaders have made dedicated efforts for the strong walled concrete nallah, as every year people especially in the lower side of the nallah, near Kabir Basti and Durga Nagar suffered badly. She said that often the sides of nallah got damaged and the houses got flooded resulting in huge losses to the poor people.

Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that only BJP has ensured the proper development of the area. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the helm of affairs, he said that BJP has taken the nation on the path of progress while starting to put a full stop on all types of malpractices existing in the country. He said after construction of nallah, the residents of this area and adjoining wards will benefit a lot as proper structure will be given to the deep drain.

Keshav Chopra praised the dedication of the local councillors for meeting the aspirations of the local people and said that during the last 5 years of the Jammu Municipal Corporation, the BJP leaders have done unprecedented development in their respective wards.
