PULWAMA, OCTOBER 04: Today, on the second day of Sankalp Saptah Week, the Suposhit Pariwar-POSHAN MELAS took center stage, bringing the spotlight on the critical issue of nutrition.

The event was marked by fervent participation and a commitment to improving the lives of the local populace.

The programme was chaired by Programme Officer ICDS, with activities viz. Growth Monitoring of Children, Weighing of Pregnant Women, Godbharai and Annaprasan Ceremonies at Anganwadi Centers. ‘Chaupal Pe Baat’ – Discussions on ‘Santulit Aahar’ (Balanced Diet), Best Practices of Kitchen Gardening and ‘Millets Ki Rang Birangi Thali’ – A Recipe Competition designed to nourish both body and spirit.

These initiatives represent a portion of the diverse and impactful activities planned for the Sankalp Saptah Week. This week-long effort is dedicated to the all-encompassing development of the twin aspirational blocks of Aripal and Ichgoze, underlining the commitment to holistic growth.
