SBI, H&H Deptt organises Exporters Connect 2.0 Programme under ODOP scheme GoI
SRINAGAR, May 11: The State Bank of India (SBI), one of the country’s premier & oldest Banking institution in association with Department of Handicrafts and Handlooms, J&K today organised Exporters Connect programme for the exporters of Srinagar and Anantnag district at Conference Hall, Kashmir Hatt, Srinagar under One District One Product (ODOP) scheme of GoI.
It is important to mention that Srinagar and Anantnag districts have been allocated by GoI for promotion of Handicrafts at international level.
General Manager SBI, A.K Jha and Director Handicrafts Kashmir, Mahmood Shah presided over the function. Around 150 exporters engaged with the handicrafts in Kashmir valley attended the programme.
SBI team from Regional Office, Srinagar gave a presentation to the exporters regarding the various schemes and benefits extended by Handloom Department for the promotion of handloom. The various loan facilities and benefits like Gold Card Scheme etc for exporters, various facilities of import and exports were discussed.
Vinod Dhar, AGM, SME J&K; Gurbinder Batra, Regional Manager, Srinagar along with AGMs, C.M Bhat and Bashir Ahmed were present on the occasion.
