According to records of the State Transport Department, every year approximately 4000 people lose their lives in accidents in Rajasthan for not wearing helmets. Another recent report of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways states that a total of 46,563 people who were not wearing helmets have lost their lives in road accident in 2021 across the country. The installation is part of a public awareness campaign to emphasise on the role of ‘protection as an enabler’ for individuals to pursue their dreams.
