SCERT Jammu observes Baisakhi & Ambedkar Jayanti

jammu, 15 April,2023 : In an effort to commemorate birth anniversary of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar and celebrate Baisakhi festival, a function was organised in the premises of SCERT Divisional Office Jammu today on 15 April,2023   Under  the Mentorship of Director SCERT, JK Dr.Prakshit Singh Manhas and able guidance of Sh.H. R Pakhroo ,Joint Director SCERT ,Jammu and Mr. F. A Fayaz,Joint Director, Move Office.The programme commenced with welcome address by Mr.AmitBhagat, Staff Secretary (Academic Officer) .On this occasion, many speakers including Ms.ArshKour,Academic Officer, Shazia Kouser, A.O., Mr.Deepak Sharma ,Sr.A.O.Ms.Abha Verma ,A.O. ,Mr.Deepak Kumar ,A. O. , Mr.Sunil Sharma,Sr.A.O.

,Ms.Ruchi Mohan ,Librarian spoke about the history and origin of Baisakhi festival .At the same time ,they also threw light on the life , family and education of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar. His role and contribution to our country as a jurist ,social reformer ,educationist and politician was also remembered. The programme was attended by Professors ,Associate Professors, Assistant Professsors and faculty of SCERT Jammu .

Mr.Swaran Singh Jaral ,Professor ,Mr.Surjit Singh ,Professor, Mr.N.P.Singh , Associate Professor also spoke on the occasion.The programme ended with a message of brotherhood,love ,compassion and empathy towards every human being.The programme was moderated by Mr.AmitBhagat, Staff Secretary SCERT Jammu.
