School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Organizes One-DayWorkshop on Smart PLS-SEM Software

The School of Business successfully conducted a one-day workshop on Structural
Equation Modelling using SmartPLS-SEM for research scholars of the School of Business and School of Economics.

The workshop aimed to enhance scholars’ understanding of advanced data analysis techniques essential for high-quality research. The sessions were conducted by Dr. Dhaval Maheta, Professor, Department of Business & Industrial Management, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, a distinguished expert in quantitative and qualitative research methods.

He provided in-depth insights into PLS- SEM, covering its theoretical foundations along with practical applications. The workshop featured hands-on training, enabling scholars to apply the technique to their research effectively.

The workshop was convened by Prof. Jyoti Sharma, with Dr. Shazia serving as the coordinator. The faculty members including Dr. Sarabjot Singh, Dr. Divya Singh Jamwal along with research scholars, namely, Mr. Manish Kumar, and Mr. Advitiya Indu Mahajan contributed significantly to the event’s success.

The scholars from the School of Business and the School of Economics participated in this workshop. The scholars expressed their gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor for providing such kind of learning opportunities to attain excellence in the research.

The workshop concluded with an interactive session and received an enthusiastic response from research scholars, who appreciated the session and the opportunity to gain practical expertise in Smart PLS-SEM software.
