School of Business Studies, CUJ organised National Webinar on Financial Wisdom Tools for Prosperity

Jammu, September 10: School of Business Studies, Central University of Jammu and AMFI jointly organized a highly informative and engaging Webinar on the topic of ‘Financial Wisdom Tools for Prosperity’ under the mentorship of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu. The event marked the gracious presence of distinguished faculty members from School of Business Studies along with Sh. Surya Kant Sharma, Senior Consultant at AMFI. The programme was formally inaugurated by Prof. Jaya Bhasin, Dean School of Business Studies and Convener of National Webinar. Prof. Bhasin in her opening address appreciated the efforts of faculty members from School of Business Studies, Central University of Jammu under the visionary leadership of Prof. Sanjeev Jain in carrying out outreach activities in collaborative mode.

Speaking on the occasion Prof. Bhasin impressed upon the participants to take the maximum benefits from the distinguished Speaker of the day having vast experience in financial markets.

Dr. Shahid Mushtaq, Assistant Professor, School of Business Studies in his address apprised the audience about the Programme. Dr. Shahid observed that for economic empowerment in today’s changing job market is of paramount importance for bringing a change in society. Introducing the trainers for the Programme he pointed that this event promises to be a great learning opportunity for all those who are interested in expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field of finance and wealth management. He also briefed the participants about the webinar.

Speaking on the occasion Sh. Surykant Sharma – Sr. Consultant AFMI in his address highlighted the need to have more self-regulated and systematic saving habits to secure one’s financial future. He also elaborated on various financial instruments to choose from and suggested a time-tested method to choose investment instruments wisely.

Earlier Dr. Asif Ali, Assistant Professor, School of Business Studies welcomed the guests and introduced the resource person of the day. He highlighted that resource person have significant corporate experience and would share valuable insights with a goal of equipping learners with tools essential to make smart financial decisions. The entire programme was coordinated by faculty members including Dr. Jaya Bhasin, Dr. Asif Ali and Dr Shahid Mushtaq.Dr. Asif Ali conducted the proceedings of the Programme and Dr. Shahid Mushtaq proposed formal vote of thanks.
