School safety training programme concludes at Doda
DODA, APRIL 25: Three day district level school safety training cum orientation program under Samagra Shiksha concluded today in the Conference Hall of Chief Education Office here.
Teachers from across the all 10 educational zones of District Doda participated in the training.
During the program the teachers were sensitized about the safety of the children in the schools through various means and measures.
The main aim and purpose of the training was to generate awareness amongst teachers on how to make schools a safe and secure zone for students and to highlight their role and responsibilities.
Kismat Singh, Ajait Singh Lecturers; Sumeiya Bano Teacher and Irshad Hussain teacher -the resource persons for the programme highlighted the importance of preparing school Disaster Management Plan. The Resource persons also highlighted the safety and precautionary measures to be adopted in the schools to avoid any kind of hazard.
The participants were also given certificates of participation by Chief Education Officer Doda.
