Science Club, Utsaah organizes an interactive talk on Indian Science @ 2047

Jammu, Dec 21: On 21st Dec. 2023, Science Club, Utsaah organized an interactive talk under the national banner of Viksit Bharat @2024 by Distinguished Prof. Madan Mohan Chaturvedi, Founder Director of CIC, DU on “Why Should India Follow Its own Innovative Strategies for Doing Scientific Research?”, detailing how India should go forward to envision Indian Science @ 2047.

The welcome address was delivered by Prof. Satnam Kour, Chairperson, Utsaah, The clubs, University of Jammu. The event was hosted in Department of Psychology, University of Jammu.

Prof. Chaturvedi in his talk stressed upon the traditional knowledge of India in the field of Biology and emphasized that it can show the path to the world. Indian researchers should have in-depth knowledge of their own roots and confidence to project it to the world with logic and scientific proof.

The highlight of the program was the exhaustive interaction with Prof. Chaturvedi, students asked and discussed questions about how to reduce the gap between India and rest of the world in Science and Innovation.

Dr Chinmoyee Maharana, Coordinator Science Club organized the event, in her remarks, she explained the need of the hour, why students need to engage and challenge themselves for the innovative ideas to vision Indian Science @2047. The program ended with warm vote of thanks to the guests and participants by the coordinator.

Among the eminent guests were Dr Sadaf Shah, Dr Rakesh Sharma, Dr Aswin, Dr Amarjeet, Dr Dharmender, Dr Karuna Gupta, Dr Lovely Sabarwal and Dr Mridula Bali. The program was highly appreciated and well perceived by the students.
