SDM Diskit Nubra Unfurls National Flag on 76th Republic Day Celebration 

Nubra, Jan 26, 2025: The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at the SDM Complex in Diskit, Nubra. Subdivisional Magistrate Diskit, Mukul Beniwal, unfurled the National Flag to mark the occasion.

In his address to the gathering, SDM Mukul Beniwal emphasized the importance of the Republic Day and urged the people to contribute to the development of Nubra. The SDM inspected the parade and took the salute at the March Past, which was presented by contingents of Ladakh Police, Government Higher Secondary School, Government Boys Middle School, Government Girls Middle School, and Lamdon Model School, Diskit. The event was attended by SHO Diskit Nubra, BMO Nubra, departmental heads, and villagers graced the occasion SDM Mukul Beniwal distributed trophies to the winners of the March Past and cultural programs. The Government Boys Middle School Diskit secured the first position in the March Past, while the Digger Cultural Group-1 bagged the first position in the cultural programs.

Additionally, the SDM distributed gifts to participants and presented appreciation certificates to employees of various departments for their exemplary service.
