SDM Karnah visits different areas; takes stock of post rainfall situation

KUPWARA, April 30: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah, Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather today visited different areas of Karnah sub division and took stock of the situation arisen after recent rainfall.

During the visit, SDM inspected 2x1MW Hydel Power Project Pingla at Haridal, the power supply from which have been affected due to damage of Thrust Bearing Unit.

On the occasion, SDM directed the concerned officers for restoring power supply from the Power Project within three days positively.

 SDM also visited different areas/roads and took stock of damages occurred due to recent rainfall.

During the visit, SDM was accompanied by Executive Engineer R&B Special Sub Division Tangdar, Naib Tehsildar Chamkote & other field functionaries.

At Teetwal, the SDM attended the inaugural ceremony of Gurudwara Sahib.
