SDM Mendhar inspects developmental works, government offices in village Ghani

Assures action on Public Grievances and Improvement in Education and Infrastructure

POONCH, JUNE 07:   SDM Mendhar, Jahangir Khan, along with the Tehsildar Mankote, Mohammad Maroof Qadri,  ZEO Mankote and officials of line departments visited village Ghani to inspect ongoing developmental works and government offices in the area.

During the tour, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) visited Higher Secondary School Ghani to inspect the basic amenities and check the quality of education being provided to the students.

 The SDM inspected the electricity and water arrangements and also took a test of the students to check the quality of education being imparted and their oriental base. The school management put forwarded their requirement, which included electricity, facility of water, adequate teaching staff etc.

Earlier, the SDM interacted with the locals and listened to their grievances. The locals of Village Upper Ghani raised several issues, including network problem, shortage of water, need for a health centre and provision of other basic infrastructure and amenities.

He assured the public that all their genuine demands will be fulfilled within specific time.

Meanwhile, the SDM also inspected the road from Sagra to Jhulaas via Lehr and directed the concerned agency to complete blacktopping at the earliest.
