SDM Paddar listens to public grievances, inspects developmental works, leads Voters’ Awareness Programme at Ungaie village

KISHTWAR, JANUARY 20: A team of Sub-divisional administration Paddar, led by SDM Arun Kumar Badyal on Saturday visited village Ungaie to review the progress of ongoing developmental activities/projects, with a focus on the Sohal-Ungaie road, besides listening to the public grievances and spreading Voters’ Awareness ahead of National Voters’ Day.

The SDM conducted on the spot inspection of the progress of work on the Sohal-Ungaie road project. He asked the concerned AEEs and executing agencies to expedite progress and ensure timely completion.

Later, in consonance to government’s commitment to enhance local infrastructure and public services delivery mechanisms, the SDM presided over a public grievance redressal camp in Ungaie village.

He attentively listened to the demands of the residents and public representatives related to infrastructure upgradation and augmentation of public services in the area. The SDM assured timely redress of genuine grievances, emphasizing that the noted concerns would be promptly conveyed to the relevant authorities.

Simultaneously, the developmental focus extended to Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) schemes, where the SDM stressed the importance of adhering to timelines for the completion of projects crucial for meeting villages’ tap water needs.

Reviewing ongoing works under the Rural Development Department (RDD), SDM Badyal emphasized strict adherence to both timelines and quality standards. He exhorted RDD officers to promptly complete the PMAY houses through the collaborative efforts of beneficiaries.

Later, he inspected the Polling Station at GMS Ungaie and ensured Assured Minimum Facilities for the convenience of voters. A voters’ awareness camp was also held as a precursor to National Voters’ Day.
