Second Randomisation of Polling Staff Conducted at Kathua
KATHUA, MARCH 31: District Election Officer Kathua, Dr. Rakesh Minhas today presided over second randomization process of polling staff designated for deployment across 701 polling stations in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections-2024.
The randomization exercise took place at the conference hall of the DC office complex with all stakeholders in attendance.
The randomization adhered meticulously to the guidelines stipulated by the Election Commission of India (ECI), ensuring fairness and impartiality in the selection of polling staff.
Assistant Returning Officers including ARO-67 Kathua, ARO-68 Hiranagar besides Nodal Officers were also present during the randomization process.
While giving the insight of the ongoing election process, the DEO Kathua, who is also the Returning Officer of the Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency said all the pre requisites are being fulfilled as per the ECI mandate. He further underscored the paramount importance of transparency and integrity in the electoral process, reaffirming the commitment towards conducting free, fair, and credible elections.
