Secretary J&K Dharmarth Trust visits Sudhmahadev; reviews Mela arrangements
JAMMU, May 22: Continuing with its age old tradition of providing hassle-free facilities to devotees visiting Sudhmahadev and Mantalai Temples on the auspicious occasion of upcoming Mela, Ashok Kumar Sharma, (SSP Retd), Secretary of J&K Dharmarth Trust today visited Sudhmahadev Temple and reviewed necessary arrangements for the devotees visiting the ancient Temple.
The Secretary offered prayer at the ancient Temples and reviewed necessary arrangements in view of the forthcoming annual Mela. He also issued necessary directions with regard to the repairs of the temples. He also met with Pujaries and staff of the Trust and gave necessary directions for providing maximum facilities to the visiting devotees.
Giving a detailed account of the preparations made by the Dharmarth Trust, Ashok Kumar Sharma said that all the necessary facilities including potable water supply, round the clock electricity, public conveniences, medical aid, etc. shall be made available to the visiting devotees on the Mela day. He said that Dharmarth Trust through its coordinated efforts and cooperation of UT administration has ensured that no devotee faces any kind of difficulty during the period of festivity.
“We have taken up the matter with the officials of District Administration in advance to ensure that the festivities become memorable for the devotees visiting the aforesaid Temples to pay obeisance to Lord Shiva,” he said and appealed to the district administration to facilitate smooth conduct of the festival.
The Secretary also met with locals comprising Sarpanch Sudhmahadev Rattan Lal, Numbardar Rajesh Verma, Dinanath (Retd Assistant Commissioner), Rajnath and Sarpanch Mantalai Bodh Raj and sought their cooperation and support for the successful conduct of annual event.
Later, he also interacted with the devotees who had come from various parts of the country and took their experience in visiting the temples maintained by the Dharmarth Trust.
