Secretary of School Education UT Ladakh Flags Off New School Buses

Leh, December 12, 2024: The Department of School Education UT Ladakh successfully flagged off six new school buses, on December 9, 2024, at the Secretariat Premises, UT Ladakh.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Secretary School Education, Sh. Sanjeev Khirwar, Secretary, School Education, Smt. Bhanu Prabha, Sh. Tsering Paldan, Director School Education, and Chief Education Kargil/Leh. The officers officially inaugurated the new fleet of buses, consisting of three buses for District Leh and three for Kargil.

These new school buses are part of the department’s ongoing efforts to enhance transportation facilities for students ensuring safe and reliable access to education institutions. The addition of these buses will significantly improve the daily commute for students, particularly those residing in remote areas.
