Secretary reviews Maha Shivratri preparations at Ranbireshwar Temple
JAMMU, February 22: Ashok Kumar Sharma, (SSP Retd), Secretary J&K Dharmarth Trust today conducted a comprehensive review of the preparations for the upcoming Maha Shivratri festivities at the renowned Ranbireshwar Temple in Jammu.
During the extensive inspection of the temple premises, the Secretary assessed the arrangements being made to facilitate devotees and ensure a smooth and joyous celebration of Maha Shivratri, one of the most auspicious festivals in the Hindu calendar.
While chairing a meeting, the Secretary emphasized the significance of thorough planning to accommodate the expected surge in devotees and ensure their safety and convenience during the prayers and rituals associated with Maha Shivratri. He also directed for timely completion of ongoing repairs and renovation in the temple premises. He also laid stress upon maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the temple premises.
Ashok Sharma said that Dharmarth Trust is a centuries old institution under the patronage of Hon’ble Chairman Trustee, Dr Karan Singh and other Trustee having a phenomenal record of providing state of art facilities to pilgrims and visitors since decades making it significant to continue with this important tradition and even providing added services through augmenting facilities as far as possible, he asserted that it is solemn responsibility of every staffer of the Trust to patiently and respectfully help the devotees to ensure a comfortable stay at the temples and shrines run under the aegis of the Trust.
Additional Secretary Varinder Jamwal, Manager Ranbireshwar Temple and other staff members were present in the meeting.
