Series of activities held under Swachhta Pakhwada at Doda
DODA, AUGUST 03: The district of Doda is currently witnessing a series of impactful activities as part of the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada, Shuchita Sangram event, organized by various government departments, including the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) Doda, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Doda, and others. This event, which runs from August 1st to August 14th, is a testament to the district’s commitment to promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental sustainability.
The MVD Doda, under the supervision of ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta, conducted a comprehensive awareness and cleanliness drive at Bhagwa bus stand.
This initiative aimed to educate vehicle operators on the importance of keeping their bus stand and vehicles clean. Drivers were encouraged to avoid littering and to install dustbins in their vehicles for proper waste disposal. The Transport Union Doda played a crucial role in spreading this message, ensuring widespread community participation.
Simultaneously, the CMO Doda led a series of health and hygiene awareness programs across the district. These programs focused on the importance of sanitation in preventing diseases and maintaining overall health. Workshops and seminars were conducted in schools, community centers, and public offices, emphasizing the role of cleanliness in creating a healthier living environment.

Other departments also joined in the celebration with various activities.
