Shalini Pandey shared her challenges shooting for the Charan Seva scene in ‘Maharaj.’ The actress said, “I was trying to be true to my character.”
Shalini Pandey is one of the most talented actresses of Indian cinema. The actress this year won acclaim for her performance as Kishori in Junaid Khan’s starrer ‘Maharaj’. It was known that ‘Maharaj’ had a scene where Shalini’s character Kishori engaged in an intense scene with Jaideep Ahlawat’s character Maharaj Jadunath Brijratan. Recently in an interview, Shalini shared her challenges for shooting the much-talked ‘Charan Seva’ scene in Maharaj with Jaideep Ahlawat.
Shalini shared, “Now that I think of it, nothing was going in my head.” “We had done a few scenes before that. I was trying to be true to my character. So, I don’t think I overthought it, to be honest.”
Shalini concluded by saying, “As soon as I did it is when I realized it’s very awkward. As soon as I took a break and I got out, I realized what the character went through. When I did it, it dawned on me like, ‘What had happened!’. And this was reality. This happened. It might be still happening somewhere. All of this just happened, and everything was really overwhelming. So, it took me time after that to process it. But before that, I think I was just doing it,” she said.
Talking about Shalini’s upcoming project, the coming year is going to be an exciting one for Shalini as she will be seen in ‘Dabba Cartel’ and ‘Bandwaale.’. Besides this, she has ‘Idli Kadai’ in the slate, which is scheduled to release theatrically on April 10th, 2025.
