Shopian Police seizes residential house of notorious drug peddler under NDPS Act

SHOPIAN April 17: In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Shopian Police has attached a double-storey residential house belonging to a notorious drug peddler at Batpora, Shopian. The house, constructed on 6.5 marlas of land, was seized under Section 68F(1) of the NDPS Act 1985. The drug peddler had been involved in trafficking narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, posing a threat to the community’s well-being.
