Siddhivinayak temple beautification work to be speeded up: Chief Minister Shinde
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 6 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday directed beautification work at Sri Siddhivinayak temple for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi.
Shinde issued this direction while addressing a meeting at Sahyadri State Guest House. He added that beautification should be speeded up so that the devotees coming to the temple can get the best facilities.
The meeting was held to review the work related to beautification and facilities of Sri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple premises. Mumbai Municipal Corporation will give a fund of five hundred crore rupees for the beautification work of the temple.
A detailed presentation was made before the Chief Minister regarding this work. In the presentation, information was given about various aspects like accommodation for devotees, five kilometres corridor, shops, parking, arrangements for darshan, queues for devotees and other facilities in the temple area.
On this occasion, Guardian Minister of Mumbai City District, Deepak Kesarkar, President of Sri Siddhivinayak Trust, MLA Sada Saravankar, Former MP Rahul Shewale, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Dr I. S. Chahal, Commissioner of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Bhushan Gagrani and others were present.
