Silver futures decline to Rs 79,340 per kg

New Delhi, Apr 5 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday fell Rs 644 to Rs 79,340 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery declined Rs 644 or 0.81 per cent to Rs 79,340 per kg in a business turnover of 27,823 lots.

Globally, silver was trading 1.51 per cent lower at USD 26.84 per ounce in New York.
