Silver futures rise on spot demand

New Delhi, Nov 21 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday jumped Rs 523 to Rs 90,612 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery rose by Rs 523 or 0.53 per cent to Rs 90,612 per kg in a business turnover of 19,042 lots.

Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.

Globally, silver was trading 1.09 per cent higher at USD 31.19 per ounce in New York.
