Silver futures rise Rs 309 to Rs 96,018/kg

New Delhi, Feb 5 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday rose Rs 309 to Rs 96,018 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs 309 or 0.32 per cent to Rs 96,018 per kg in a business turnover of 25,105 lots.

Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.

Globally, silver was trading 0.42 per cent lower at USD 32.30 per ounce in New York.
