SKUAST Jammu conducts 5-day training program on Post-Harvest Management & Business Opportunities at Ramban
RAMBAN, JUNE 25: A highly successful 5-day training program on post-harvest management and business opportunities was concluded today at Batote. The event was a joint initiative by Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Jammu and the Horticulture Planning and Marketing Department, Ramban.
The concluding ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries including the Director of Research, the Director of Education, and the Dean of Social Work from SKUAST Jammu, who served as the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour. Dr. Pawan Gupta, Dr. Anil Bhat, and the Area Marketing Officer of Ramban delivered impactful concluding addresses that highlighted the importance of the training and its potential benefits for the participants.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in comprehensive sessions that covered critical aspects of post-harvest management, including techniques for extending the shelf life of produce, best practices for packaging and transportation, and exploring new business opportunities in the agricultural sector.
