Commuters traveling on the vital Jammu-Srinagar National Highway are facing significant delays today due to adverse road conditions, particularly between Nashri and Banihal.

The stretch has become a cause for concern as poor surface conditions at Dalwas, Mehar, and Sherbibi have resulted in a slowdown in traffic.

The authorities have reported single-lane traffic at Kishtwari Pather and Hingni, further contributing to the congestion. Additionally, a slippery road surface between Ramsoo and Banihal, caused by frost, has added to the challenges faced by commuters.
