SMVDU Faculty delivers an Expert Lecture at Kerala

KERALA, January 20: Dr. Kapil Chopra, Assistant Professor, School of Mechanical Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University delivered a session at the Faculty Development Program on ā€œDevelopments in Renewable Energy Systems and Technologiesā€ for University and College Teachers organized by the Musaliar College of Engineering & Technology, Pathanamthitta, Kerala. In this one-week duration program, Dr. Chopra has taken aĀ session on ā€œPotential of Solar Water Heaters for Domestic/ Industrial Applicationsā€.

During the session, Dr. Chopra emphasized the benefits of the implementation of solar thermal technologies in developing and developed countries. It is pertinent to mention that Dr. chopra also presented the experimental units that were designed and fabricated in the lab. Students, Research Scholars, educationalists from various Universities, Colleges and Industrialists across the pan India attended this session.

However, research scholars as well as students exchange the innovative ideas with the expert and gains lot of knowledge. The session concluded with a question-and-answer session followed by a vote of thanks to the speaker.
