SMVDU Katra hosted educational tour of Govt Secondary School Kahpohta, Dansal

REASI, September 26: SMVDU Katra hosted visit of students from Govt. Higher Sec. School, Kahpohta, Dansal under an outreach activity program. The visit was organized to enhance knowledge/awareness among students about higher educational institutions. NSS volunteers of the University accompanied the school team during the visit.

NSS Coordinator, Dr. Rajiv Kumar welcomed the school officials and students and gave a brief introduction of the University. Students were motivated to join higher educational institutes after completing their class 12th. During the event the school team visited the central workshop, central Library, auditorium etc. Cultural performances were also held by volunteers and school students during the visit in the auditorium.

More than 80 students along with their teachers and Principal participated in the visit. The Principal of the school, thanked University authorities for hosting the visit. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Pragati Kumar appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers for organizing the visit.
