SMVDU organized Run for Unity on Rastriya Ekta Diwas

KATRA, Nov. 11: NSS SMVDU organized Run for Unity on the occasion of Rastriya Ekta Diwas to celebrate the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. The event was organized under the aegis of Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign. The Unity run was flagged off by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Pragati Kumar. Before the start of the run all participants took the Rastriya Ekta Pledge.

Volunteer Suhani Sharma recited a poem on the occasion. The unity run was started from the Administrative block to the residential area and then back to the starting point. Around 100 participants joined the event and covered around 3 Km distance during the run. NSS Program Coordinator, Dr. Rajiv Kumar and Co-coordinator Dr. Kamaldeep thanked all the participants and volunteers for supporting the event.
