SMVDU Scholar won the Best Paper Award

SMVD University scholar, Ms. Surbhi Badyal from the School of Languages and Literature, won the Best Paper Award in the 4th International Conference on Contemporary Perspectives in English Language, Literature, and Cultural Studies (ICCPE-2024) organized by the Department of English, University Institute of Liberal Arts & Humanities, Chandigarh University.

She is pursuing her research under the supervision of Dr. Anurag Kumar, Assistant Professor, School of Languages and Literature.She presented the paper titled “Dalit Feminist Ecriture and the Politics of Difference: A Reappropriation of Dalit Writings through Select Dalit Life Narratives”.

The session was chaired by Dr. Javid Iqbal Bhat, Associate Professor, Department of English, University of Kashmir, South Campus and the session was coordinated by Dr. Irshad Ahmad Itoo, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Chandigarh University.
