Social Welfare Department organises Training cum Awareness Program at Gool

RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 10: The Social Welfare Department today hosted a Training cum Awareness Program in Gool as part of Mission Vatsalya to boost child protection efforts.

 The aim was to educate everyone about Mission Vatsalya Guidelines, the role of CWC, JJB, and CCIs, ensuring better child protection measures.

Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gool, Pawan Goswami presided over the function and DDC Member, Sakhi Mohammad Choudhary was guest of honor. 

Former PRIs, Numberdars, Chowkidars, Anganwadi Workers, Asha workers and officials of ICDS, RDD and Revenue Department also attended the function.    

Speaking on the occasion, the SDM    highlighted the significance of such training programs for creating awareness and fostering a collective approach. He underscored the essential role played by collaborative efforts in ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

In his address, District Child Protection Officer, Rahul Gupta, highlighted the need for collective action in addressing child protection issues. 

Representatives from different departments also participated, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of guidelines to safeguard children’s welfare.
