Is Sons Of The Forest On PS5?

Endnight Games’ Sons of the Forest is a horror survival game released on 23 February 2023. The game is available for PC and GeForce. As of now, April 2025, Sons of the Forest is not available on PlayStation 4/5. It has been more than 2 years, but a PS5 version has not arrived yet. The game is famous among gamers, and despite strong demand from PS players, there is no official update from the developers to launch a game for PlayStation consoles.

According to insiders, developers are more focused on improving the PC game and expanding it to the next level before working on the console version. The PC final version of the game still has bugs and performance issues. Making a console version out of the PC version requires a lot of bug fixes and improvements to the mechanics so that it gives a smooth experience to users.

Endnight Games’ original game, The Forest, was first released to PC before coming to PlayStation and other consoles. So we can assume that once the PC version of Sons Of The Forest PC version becomes bug-free, a PS version will be released.

Will Sons Of The Forest Be On PS5?

As we have discussed above, there is no official confirmation about the PS5 release from the developers of Sons Of The Forest. But an insider report suggests that the team is working on improving the PC version. Despite a strong PS version demand, the developer is not paying attention to the console version because the company believes in improving the current version before releasing other versions of the game.

Many other companies that developed a PC exclusive game later released a console version after improving the standard version. Moreover, The Forest was also ported to PlayStation 4 after a final version for PC was released. Endnight Games might do the same with Sons of the Forest. Also, we know that the PC version if not yet been released fully and has many bugs still after 2 years, it will take more time for the console version.

Till now, PlayStation users can wait for the official update and show their interest in Endnight Games’ social media handles. Together we can influence the developers to make the console version on priority.
