Special awareness campaign held at DPL Doda under SVEEP

DODA, May 03: A special campaign was today organized at the District Police Line (DPL) Doda under the Systematic Voters’ education and Electoral Participation programme (SVEEP) to raise awareness among police personnel and security personnel regarding the ongoing Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls. The objective was to encourage enrollment of left-out voters and increase their participation in the electoral process. During the campaign, the form 6,7 and 8 regarding election process was also distributed to the police personnel

The campaign was attended by several officers, including Deputy District Election Officer Doda, Amresh Kotwal; Dy.SP DAR, Susheel Kumar; Election Naib Tehsildar (ENT), Angrez Singh Jasrotia and RI DPL Sanjay Manhas. They were all actively involved in the special campaign and helped in spreading awareness among the police and security personnel.

The officers explained the importance of voter enrollment and participation in the electoral process. They also highlighted the significance of every vote in shaping the future of the country. The campaign aimed to create a sense of responsibility among police and security personnel towards their duty as citizens to participate in the electoral process.
