KATHUA, February 19: The latest episode of ‘Awaam Ki Awaaz’- the address of Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha aired today across district Kathua received an overwhelming response of people from all walks of life as they gathered in large numbers to listen to the programme.
Special Choupals were organised at different Panchayats to update the inhabitants of rural periphery about the progressive steps taken by the administration. The Lt Governor lauded the achievers who have done well by availing welfare schemes of the government with their extraordinary commitment and courage.
At remote sub-division Bani, Special Choupal was organised in the local Panchayat Ghar where people listened to the message of Lt. Governor which was on the fast-changing development profile of Jammu Kashmir and its march towards inclusive and sustainable development.
Similarly, in Border sub division Hiranagar, people participated with great enthusiasm in Special Choupal to listen to the live broadcast of Awaam Ki Awaaz and the message of LG Administration.
Likewise, Special Choupals were organised in Billawar, Kathua and Basohli sub-divisions which also witnessed overwhelming participation of locals.
The people of Kathua District have expressed their gratitude to the LG administration for this programme wherein they can listen to a plethora of ideas projected by individuals.
This episode was special as the LG mentioned about the suggestions and ideas put forth by the individuals belonging to district Kathua.
