Special Program Organized on National Press Day at Minerva Public School, Barnoti Kathua

KATHUA, November 16 : Minerva Public School,  Barnoti Kathua, celebrated National Press Day with great enthusiasm and dignity. Commander Amit Khajuria (Retired) graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Manuj Kesar, Chairman of the Press Club Kathua, attended as the special guest.

The program commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting, during which the school director, Mahipal Sharma, shared his thoughts. He highlighted the significance of press freedom and its pivotal role in strengthening democracy.

An engaging discussion on journalism and its various facets took place among the children and guests. Students presented their views on diverse topics, emphasizing press freedom, its role in guiding society, and its importance in empowering democracy.
