Srinagar: 3 fraudsters arrested for duping old woman

SRINAGAR, 14 Aug: In a significant development, 3 fraudsters Shamas Din Beig of Kupwara, Irfan Ahmad Beig of Kawari Kupwara, Fayaz Ahmed Shah of Habbakadal were held for duping old woman by changing her golden earrings with artificial ones by Srinagar Police on Monday.

FIR stands registered in Nigeen Police Station.

The swift action by Srinagar Police in solving the case has made the fact conspicuous that it has been acting tough to curb the crime in the district.

Three (3) thugs namely: 1) Shamas Din Beig of Kupwara 2) irfan Ahmad Beig of kawari Kupwara 3) Fayaz Ahmed Shah of Habbakadal arrested for deceiving /cheating an old woman at Hazratbal Dargah by changing her golden ear rings with artificial ones.
