Srinagar: Couple arrested for impersonating IPS & IAS Officer

SRINAGAR, 7 Aug: Acting tough against crime, Srinagar Police apprehended a couple for impersonating IPS & IAS Officer. It is learnt that they had duped many persons of lakhs of rupees by promising jobs/transfers & other favours.

The accused have been identified as Manmohan Ganjoo and Ayoush Koul Ganjoo his wife.

Reports suggest, Manmohan Ganjoo is a suspended Police Personnel. Besides, laptops, and mobiles containing several fake transfer & appointment orders including his own order of induction into IPS were seized.

Fraudulently possessed cash, jewellery & other incriminating articles also recovered from his house.
