Srinagar police issues clarification, says suspected grenade attack was tyre burst
SRINAGAR February 15: Following reports of a grenade attack on the CRPF, the Srinagar Police issued a clarification on the event. “There is unverified news going around about some grenade attack on CRPF in the downtown area. It is clarified that there was a tyre burst in a BP vehicle that created panic in the area. Reporters are again requested to check the authenticity before spreading news for sensationalism.” They said.
