Street play “Vote Keran ge hum,Vote Keran ge sab” staged by Sangam Theatre Group

REASI March 08: A Street play “Vote Keran ge hum, Vote Keran ge sab” was presents by Sangam Theatre Group Reasi in collaboration with District Administration Reasi here at TRC Ransoo (Shiv Khori) on the occasion of Shivratari Mela.

 On the occasion Sh Sohail Randhawa (JKAS) Tehsildar pouni was the Chief Guest ,DDC,Panch Ser panch also present on the occasion.

 The play was written & directed by M.Akram Khan and was based on Young Voters electoral registration and Election promotions. The characters of the play narrate the general mass “Vote Keran ge hum, Vote Keran ge sab…..Vote daalna hak he sabka our hemari shan he”  and stressed on new voters in the age of 18 years enrolled in the electoral, more and more participation of  younger’s registered themselves to  cast the vote properly in fair and ethical manner in upcoming Election in district Reasi. The play depicts rights of the voter and how to elect the right candidate.

This was achieved on one side through the active dissemination of information among the general public with a special focus on the knowledge about voters more participation. 

The Artist who beautifully  presented the play were Anil Kumar, Aasim Nadeem, Raja Aamir Khan , Sarita Bhagat, Anamika Devi, , Nia Chouhan, Priya Devi, Anu Devi and M. Akram Khan.

Officers of District Administration, senior citizen, Pilgrims,  general public and students witnessed and  appreciated the efforts made by the Sangam Theatre Group Reasi a renowned cultural organization as well as District administration Reasi for organizing such type of the Street play for the awareness of young voters and enrolment of electoral registration.
