Strengthening Election Readiness: General Observer conducts comprehensive review in 36- Zainapora AC

Reviews polling stations, strong room and SVEEP initiatives to ensure smooth & secure Elections
SHOPIAN, SEPTEMBER 04: In order to ensure comprehensive preparedness for the upcoming Assembly Elections 2024, the General Observer for 36-Zainapora Assembly Constituency, Jeevan Babu K today conducted an extensive visit to various polling stations across the constituency.


The General Observer visited polling stations at Nadigam, Nadigam Check, Kundalan, Manzimpora, Kharwara, Nildoora, Hermain-A, Hermain-B and other polling stations.
During the visit, Jeevan Babu K meticulously reviewed the arrangements at each polling station, ensuring that all necessary facilities and infrastructure are in place for voters and polling staff.


He engaged with polling officials to reinforce the importance of adhering to the guidelines set by the Election Commission of India (ECI) and focused on ensuring that the polling stations are accessible to all, including senior citizens and persons with disabilities.


In addition to the polling stations, Jeevan Babu K also visited the Strong Room and took stock of a three tier security grid in place for securing it.
He conducted a thorough inspection of the security protocols in place, ensuring the integrity and safety of the voting equipment.
The General Observer also took the opportunity to review the ongoing Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) activities in the constituency and evaluated the efforts made to raise voter awareness and promote active participation in the elections.


He emphasized the critical role of SVEEP in ensuring that all eligible voters are informed, motivated, and facilitated to exercise their right to vote.
He encouraged continued efforts to reach out to every section of society ensuring maximum voter turnout by creating the appropriate media content, having high viewership.
