Students at GDC Vijaypur take Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge

SAMBA, JANUARY 21: Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Committee of Government Degree College Vijaypur on Tuesday organized a pledge taking event for students to reaffirm their resolve to fight Drug abuse.

The program was organized under the guidance and supervision of the college Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Verma. The students and faculty members reiterated their commitment towards creating a drug society.

Pledge was administered by Dr. Anoop Kumar Bhagat (Nodal Officer, Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan) to the students and faculty members of the college.

The event was organised with the support of the senior faculty members Prof. Mamta Gupta (HOD Commerce), Prof. Ritu Bhagat (HOD Education), Prof. Poonam Kundan (HOD Environmental Sciences), Dr. Manoj Heer (HOD Dogri), Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (HOD English) and Prof. Meetu Sharma (HOD Geography) and other faculty members.

It was coordinated by Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal, Dr. Priyanka Ganjoo, Dr Anjana Raina, Prof. Madhu Bala and Prof. Manisha.
