Students of Bachpan, a play school Kathua Celebrate shree Krishan Janmashtmi

Kathua- The Nursery, Lkg and Ukg students of Bachpan a play school captured the essence of Janmashtami through a mesmerizing celebration held on 06.09.2023. The event offered a delightful glimpse into the life and teachings of Lord Krishna, showcasing various scenes performed with pure joy and enthusiasm.

The celebration commenced with a vibrant procession, featuring our little ones adorning beautiful traditional costumes, resembling the joyous atmosphere of Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Students depicted significant events from Krishna’s life in colorful scenes, capturing the attention and hearts of the audience.

One of the highlights was the enactment of Krishna’s childhood, where the students of Nursery class recreated scenes depicting his mischievous activities and interactions with his beloved friends. 

The Radha-Krishna Raas Leela dance performance by Lkg class students stole the show, with our talented dancers  gracefully moving to the melodious tunes of devotional music. 

Another remarkable scene done by Ukg class students showcased Krishna lifting the Govardhan mountain on his finger to protect his devotees from heavy rains. The portrayal of this divine act left a lasting impression on everyone, highlighting the epitome of compassion and the power of devotion.

Mrs Manisha Gupta Principal of Bachpan a play school expressed her delight and pride in the students’ incredible dedication and hard work. She emphasized the importance of incorporating cultural festivals into the curriculum, promoting diversity, and fostering a sense of unity among the young learners.

Coordinators Mrs Monika Sharma and Mrs Jyoti Sharma were very proud of Nursery, Lkg and Ukg teachers for their efforts and hard work to create a memorable event like this.

This Janmashtami celebration not only provided a platform for our students to showcase their talents but also served as an opportunity for them to learn valuable lessons from the life of Lord Krishna. It nurtured their understanding of compassion, friendship, and devotion, which are essential values guiding their future journeys.
