Students of Ladakh University perform Nukad Natak in Kharu

Leh, April 25, 2024: As part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, students from the University of Ladakh performed a NUKAD NATAK in Kharu on April 25.

They aimed to raise awareness about the significance of voting and make them aware of their rights.
The NUKAD NATAK performed by the students was designed to educate the public about the importance of exercising their voting rights through an engaging skit.
The event saw active participation from the District Icon, Stanzin Dorjai Gya.

Alongside the SVEEP team, Leh, led by SVEEP Nodal Officer Tajamul Ara (Deputy Director NYK), actively engaged with the public. They provided valuable insights and information regarding facilities available for specially-abled persons and senior citizens above 85 years of age.

SDM Kharu, Sonam Dorjai was also present at the Kharu Market and provided valuable input to raise awareness among the public.
